HEADLINE NEWS: On the local news this morning & on the school district website....
"Due to heavy snow warning for the Grand Valley, all schools will be closed February 4th."
We actually drove to the school this morning expecting a regular day at school, as we do not typically watch the news in the morning. As we approached the school, the 1st thing we noticed, besides the "skiff" of snow on the ground, was that there was not a single car in the parking lot. Right away P said, "Oh good, I did not want to leave E & E this morning, so they would be sad!"...such love for his younger brother & sister.
You might notice the amount of snow shown in the photo above. What?? We moved from Utah!! I am thinking the schools in Utah are open today with possibly a little more snow! The boys will surely enjoy a little "Marble Blasters" on the computer today, among other non-school activities. Who knows, maybe we will even venture out into the dreary winter weather, despite the heavy snow warning!

You need 8 feet of snow on the level and still go to school! :-)
I love your family!!!!!!
how funny! a few weeks ago i left for work around 6:30 and the plows hadn't been by and there was literally over a foot of snow on the roads. i could barely get through it without 4-wheel drive. i turned on the radio and they were announcing a few schools that were closed and i thought for SURE the schools in my area would be. but no. after all, as you said, this is utah! i had to laugh when i saw the amount of snow on the ground in the picture!
